LADIES DAY COMPETITION

The first ever 'Ladies only' match was well attended. Only the lack of fish from boat, the winds at times gusting to force 6, kept more from weighing in.
Just one did ventured afloat, Carol Rice going out with hubby Mick to an inshore mark to find a lesser-spotted of 1-12-12 to claim that section, while several visited the piers and breakwaters in the hope of spring running mackerel or garfish. But those caught were only small. All received vouchers, the winners also taking a small memento trophy.

Evening Competition at Goodrington.

With bad weather during the day and moderate North Easterly winds, the first evening comp of the year was well supported with seniors,ladies & juniors all weighing in.

Best 2 Different Species over 2 Days

With bad weather forecasted,the weigh in was excellent with around 40 fish coming to the scales over the 2 days.So many anglers braved the weather and fished their local shore marks. One boat did managed to venture out of Dartmouth,but wasnt long before they were back in fishing the river Dart. The final results are listed below.
