Fishing Meeting 5th November 2007

The Fishing Committee met for their monthly meeting listed below are the main topics.

BEESANDS COMPETITION

Due to the extensive work carried out on the sea defence wall at Beesands the fishing committee
decided to move the Carlsberg comp to TORCROSS. Fishing will commence at 10am til 3pm.
Weigh in will be 3pm - 3.30pm at the Sherman Tank Car Park. If however bad weather is forecast then
the Carlsberg comp will take place at East Portismouth.

NEW ANGLING HANDBOOK 2007-08

Care is made when organising the angling handbook but for some unforeseen reason there is a Printer error when going to press. Please note the errors made which are as follows:
  1. Carlsberg Competition time is 10am start and not 8am.
  2. Specimen weight for grey mullet from shore is 4 - 4 - 0 and not 4 - 4 - 4
  3. Specimen weight for silver eel from boat is 2 - 8 - 0 and not   2 - 9 - 0
FUN LEAGUE DRAWN OUT OF THE HAT

The winning names were drawn from the hat to complete the Summer Fun League please see below for final standings.

SUMMER LEAGUE PRESENTATION

It was decided that the Summer league presentation will take place after weigh in on Sunday 18th November 2007.
